Assesses medial elbow stability under valgus stress.

Purpose

Screen for medial elbow instability.

Execution

1. Patient supine or seated with elbow slightly flexed
2. Apply valgus stress to the elbow
3. Assess pain and end feel

Key Observations

• Pain or laxity at medial elbow

1. Compare both sides
2. Stop if sharp pain occurs
