Strength

McGill core endurance tests for trunk stability.

Purpose

Screen for McGill Core Endurance Tests findings.

Execution

  1. Perform the trunk flexor endurance test (modified curl-up hold)
  2. Perform the trunk extensor endurance test (Sorensen hold)
  3. Perform right and left side bridge holds
  4. Record time to fatigue for each test
  5. Compare ratios and side-to-side differences

  1. Observe from: lateral.
  2. Standardize start position and instructions.
  3. Perform 2-3 trials per side when applicable.
  4. Record key observations and any positive indicators.
  5. Compare left vs right when applicable.
