Single-leg squat assessment for dynamic knee and hip control.

Purpose

Screen for Single Leg Squat findings.

Execution

  1. Stand on one leg with the other leg forward
  2. Perform a controlled squat to a comfortable depth
  3. Keep the knee tracking over the foot
  4. Observe pelvis and trunk stability
  5. Compare sides

Protocol

  1. Observe from: frontal.
  2. Standardize start position and instructions.
  3. Perform 2-3 trials per side when applicable.
  4. Record key observations and any positive indicators.
  5. Compare left vs right when applicable.
