Cross-Body Shoulder Stretch

Gentle posterior shoulder stretch. A safer alternative to the sleeper stretch for some clients.
Execution
- Bring the arm horizontally across the body
- Use the opposite hand to draw the arm toward the chest
- Keep the shoulder down
- Hold 30-45 seconds per side
Cues
- Shoulder stays relaxed and down
- Breathe slowly
- Feel the stretch in the back of the shoulder
Common Errors
- Shoulder hiking toward the ear
- Torso rotation
- Forcing the range

- Basic -> Against a wall -> Add rotation
