Terminal Knee Extension (TKE)

Closed-chain quad activation drill emphasizing the VMO. Common in knee rehab and patellofemoral pain.

Execution

  1. Band behind the knee, anchored in front at knee height
  2. Start with slight knee bend, extend fully against the band
  3. Squeeze the quad at full extension
  4. 3 sets x 15-20 reps
